I’ve had the ulterra now for a while. I like it for what I do. I use the foot and and remote the foot pedal takes a little time to get use to but I still like using it over the remote when fishing.
yes it was.
Thank you everyone! motor’s definitely not a 250 it has a flash and all the hydrotec mods like coned lower and 1.60 gears. Boat runs good and more to come. Thank you Brad for posting this! And thank...
I run mine where 0 is about even maybe 1/2 below pad Probably not for everyone. I would set yours up in the middle 3 is even with pad.
I haven’t had any personal experience but it seems most guys running hydraulic plats for top speed stuff like sea star. I’m about to switch from bobs to an old detwiler but It’s pretty custom only...
I would say the xrd is faster I don’t see many of the xrs if any run over 100. My 21xrd with a Yamaha sho has gone 102mph on lake Travis earlier this year hopefully more to come.
Never hurts to try with caution. My fastest prop on my 21xrd Yamaha sho combo is the fastest.
You coming here for more business???
I just replaced my old ubp one with a new cb marine one.
I would say mostly hull design + they are lighter.
The pad design is similar between Bullet/stroker/Allison vs the majority of bass boats.
I say what ever you prefer. My boat was TN style when I purchased it I definitely like it and will always have it that way.
Never hurts to try
I always put 28oz in mine it’s better to have it a little low for expansion especially if you make long hard runs. The shift shaft seals like to push out from expansion. Something else to consider is...
I removed mine and built basically just a step with star board “marine plastic” it works awesome and people can still seat there if needed
no sir I’m running stock 1.75 gears with the rpm I’m turning I’m finding no need for higher gears.
I’m running a flashed sho with all the hydrotec lower unit mods on a 21xrd. I rebuilt the motor early this year and had all the internals balanced. I’ve done a ton of work to get it where it’s at my...
I know this doesn’t answer your question exactly but I’m running a 21xrd with a Yamaha sho. I’ve run several performers and other similar props and hole shot has always bin pretty good. I’ve even run...
I would say if your not trying to get every mph out of the rig thin I probably wouldn’t replace them until you had to.
A little update on my 21 xrd with a Yamaha sho. I’ve hit 95 with a few different props that’s loaded with a cooler and extra prop.
Why are you speaking about things you have zero proof of. You talk all this crap thin have a boat custom built for one.
I think a 21 would float just fine with one. Steve bishop had a 450r on a 21 for a short period.
Looking for a 200hp + Yamaha sho if anyone has one or knows of one I would really appreciate it
I know a guy on Facebook had a 21 xrd done let me see if I can find a picture.
A guy name Phil Ransonet makes a killer custom cover he probably made the one you saw on Facebook.
