Thanks. I haven't experimented with the props. Boat is heavy, heavy. What would you expect RPM to be?

What would you recommend? These are 19P Mirage Plus.
Thank you, Savage. That resolved the issue.
Updating (because I can't stand people who don't update their findings! LOL). New fuel lines throughout, cleaned the VST twice, and in the end it was a weak Pulse Pump. Rebuilt it and she now runs...
Good replies. Thank you. If it's an EPA issue, there's no way around that (not that I'm trying to find one, just curious). And while I definitely wouldn't want a fuel leak in a bilge, I think the...
This is just "thinking out loud". Even if the safety issue is valid (a simple pressure switch could kill the pump if pressure falls too low) and there's already fuel lines in the bilge so...
Even...
It was just an example. I don't see a need for any EFI motor to need more than one pump and ZERO actually on the motor, they should be in the tank and ANY tank can be retrofitted for EFI if that's...
I've been an automotive mechanic most of my life (I'm 54). Why are outboard fuel systems so complex? I've converted '30s hotrods to modern fuel injected motors, even my '77 dually is turbo LS...
Wow. Doesn't look capable of that sort of volume and rate!
Will do. I've got a kit laying here for it. What exactly does the pulse pump do in such a high pressure system?
On my 2000 model, I'm chasing an issue with the high pressure pump starving for fuel above 3100 rpm (surges). I've taken the VST apart (again) just to be sure and it looks pristine inside. I do have...
A big "THANK YOU" to all who contributed. As usual, it's a far simpler solution than anticipated. As I got all my material laid out to build new battery leads from the center console to the motors,...
Had my '16 Sierra 6.2 fixed this week. GM tried a different fluid first on the 8l90, that didn't work. Then they replaced a bunch of torque converters and that turned out to be a temporary fix...
Have an actual tune done by someone that knows HP Tuners inside and out and has a dyno. If you don't know who that is in your area, shoot me a PM and I'll see if I can find one. GM leaves a lot "on...
Not sure if this is still true but when we were deciding whether or not to watch, I downloaded Paramount's app and then cast it to the TV. Free for 24 hours to let you watch a few and see if you...
Thanks. I've got the one I took off as well. I think I'll build my new cables and install before I go any further. They are probably original '99 equipment.
No can do. Different starters. Other motor is a 2006, this one is a 2000.
Arco is supposed to be a reputable brand, from what I've read.
Good news / bad news. It was installed incorrectly. correcting the orientation had no effect.
Thank you. I really hope that's the issue. Can't wait to get home and check!
Yes, ARCO.
Starter is new (was changed 6 months ago) chasing this problem. No change.

Pulled the belt. Had no affect on cranking speed. Compressor feels smooth with schrader valve depressed and turning it by hand.
Thanks again. Checked that. Starter is installed correctly and anchored securely.
Will it hurt anything to remove the belt from the compressor and spin the motor over?
