I did not coat any of the plywood. Not really worried about it for now, it will all be replaced at a later date.

I love it. It moves the boat real nice and easy. Not such a pain in the a$$ to fish when it's windy out now.

Upgrading the TM solved that problem for me. I opted for the MotorGuide X5 80lb. Price was right and I simply could not pass it up. The 45lb TM that came with mine just didn't cut it.
