I have the same problem with mine.. Anyone tried to lock the tilt into one position. Buying a new helm is not an option at the prices I've seen.

I have had the same issue with my boat. The prop was not vented. Holeshot was junk but ran fine once on top. I had the prop vented and no more problems.
