It will be interesting when they swing north to 1000 islands and champlain. That is the backyard of a few of the rookies this year.
Three rivers tackle just got some in for you boys that like strolling. I've tried and I suck at it. But figured there's a few that need a lucky break........
I'm not old per say but do have some shoulder issues and I find it much easier using a spinning rod. I also notice i tend to snap lighter with a spinning rod and I seem to catch more fish.

And it made for some good ol crappie pounding. Cant pass up an evening and a morning bite all occurring in under 2 hrs...
I've been scraping a couple the last few times I've been out in the yak. All rats and all on a jerk. Need to get back out in the big boat but everyday I actually have time it snows or the wind is...
I say over kill. I just got a tatula 150 that I plan on using for 2 oz deep diving cranks and will swap to a different rod for magdrafts.
I'll go cheap for you. I already got a real nice glitter sled but I need a new fishing yak. I'm getting to fat to use my kids yak these days.
I wish you could buy Jackhammers like that so you could tie your own skirts for them.
Just curious if there is a resolution or image improvement between the gen 1 unit bps has on sale right now versus the new gen 2 unit. Currently running a 93sv with a 32 scope. Buying a 34 in the...
So I have one as it came on my boat when I bought it. Have I ever noticed it making a difference for bass. Only a few times I have turned it on and had smallies lift up off the bottom enough to pick...
Al actually read your mind and knew you were going to post before you even wrote the post... That's why he was the first to respond.
Its probably some sort of backwash set up for the screen so it doesnt get totally clogged.
Led lights and a couple high gloss coats of white paint and you will feel like your in an operating room with how bright it will be. Wood will definitely look more appealing but will feel much...
Looked like it was on fire.
I got a Diawa lexa 300 last year with the power knob for swimbaits. It absolutely changed the game for me.
My absolute go to when the bite is tough. I use a shad shape worm on a slider jig head. Kind of like a ned, but you get the spiral fall of a tube with a baitfish profile.

Had an hour after work today so obviously I went fishing. Caught 3. Fish were super shallow thanks to the 4" rise in pond level from the rain....
Well I guess the cat is out of the bag so I will back the post above by saying OSP dunk and high cut are amazing baits. I routinely throw a dunk 57 sp and that thing will suspend forever. To the...
Hundred percent agree. A mostly overlooked JB that flat out catches fish. These out fish my jr+1 by a wide margin when I need to go deeper than a normal 110.

Well im.on the board for 2024. Used a little vaca time today since it was almost 60. Fished for 2 hrs caught 4 bass dropped a few more and a few...
Definitely star link train. I've seen them 3 times now. First time I saw them I was sure it was aliens and my kids laughed at me.
Fished sunday for an hour or so in the yak till wind picked up and I started doing circles. No bass but the perch were shallow and hungry.
So i use almost that same set up just with 7lb fluro for drop shotting and have zero issues. What brand braid and fluro are you using? I'm using sunline for both. I've tried many different lines and...
Is that a stanley spinnerbait?
