It’s not a thermistor. It’s a temperature actuated switch from an hvac system most likely.
Turn your fan in the "on" position and see what happens. Zoned systems, especially a heat pump, are very hard on the equipment. But the only true fix, as far as reliability and comfort are concerned,...

It’s not sensing ground. Or a board. Very rarely does a sensor fail, unless the ceramic broke.

When I first started using shakey heads, I bought the flat eye type. I fish rocky lakes and broke a few off on hook set and broke some easily when I hung up. Started pouring my own with a 90 deg. eye...
My optimax started alarming the same way at 3400 rpm and as the day went on it would alarm at 2900. There was a blown fuse link coming from the alternator (90 amp). I was running off my battery. They...
I bought a few packs of shad color 5" that would not swim. Compared them to others that I knew would swim and noticed the tails was offset and too small. Now, if I want a Basstrix, I'll buy a pack of...

Was called three times. Served all three times. First time was a civil suit. It took 5 days. The second and third time was people caught in the act dealing drugs. Both of those took a half a day in...
Peg the sinker. Lightest weight possible. Problem solved... mostly.
Dewalt from Lowe's is what you are looking for.
Mitsubishi is great but pricy. I've had the best luck out of Fujitsu. They have the easiest to use remote control that I've seen (which means a lot btw). Carrier units are very inexpensive. I believe...
Do-It split rings are the strongest I have found, size 2 & 3 that is. Also, they are cheap.
