Better target separation is huge, especially for ice fishing. I wonder if my echomap plus is compatible.
I'd be very surprised if they don't release a new version of Livescope and some new head units at ICAST this year.
Absolutely no chance IMO. I'm waiting for the next gen ultra or UHD before I upgrade my sv plus :)
Livescope will not shine in this situation. It's much better off shore IMO. It's even better on the ice, but you're a bit south for that! :)
Yup, that's the replacement. If your cv52 is replaced under warranty they give you a gt52.
I was wondering the same thing
Wow, that is great quality! Well done!
FWIW, the summit mount has a lifetime guarantee. You could get it replaced.
I spent some time last year chasing a "huge school of crappie" all over the ice until I dropped down a camera and found a ton of small carp. :crying:
Rumor is that BPS/Cabelas will have another batch after the first of the year. I have nothing more than a rumor about it though.
Keep an eye on Tackle Warehouse. In the past their 20% off sitewide sale for Black Friday did not exclude Livescope...
You can go bigger than 32gb, but you need to format it in FAT32. I used a 64gb in mine for a while.
Which color pallette are you using? If you use the blue one you can adjust it to where the fish and weeds are different colors with the different densities.
Latest chartplotter update :)
Blue is my all around favorite, but amber is a close second. I found amber better when searching cribs/trees/cover on the ice, but I prefer to fish with blue.
Can't he buy the LakeVu maps? https://buy.garmin.com/en-US/US/p/125128
I'd ask Garmin to be sure, but I swear that you can buy the maps you don't have and use them on your device. (I.E. Canadian...
Agreed. I like it in open water, but it's insane on the ice!
If he currently has the lakevu maps associated with his Garmin account, they will be unlocked for the 122sv if he downloads them, right?
Sorry guys, I've been very busy with work and a flooded basement. I was going to try to get all of the stats put together in a nice graphical format, but that's just not going to be possible right...
You're going to be waiting a while...Mega 360 is as close as you'll get for now!
Re-manufactured, aka refurbished. I can't speak to the experience the OP had, but Garmin has always gone above...
Sorry, didn't get to it last night. Hopefully tonight. I have the data in raw form, but want to clean it up.
I run an Echomap Plus 93sv on my kayak and love the screen size. I upgraded from a 7" Garmin and it was a positive change to go with the bigger screen. The ultra should be fine, but I wouldn't go...
hold up, now that I reread your first post, are you trying to put the updated maps on the internal memory of the chartplotter?
Strange, they'd been having that issue in the past, but had it resolved as far as I was aware. The easiest way to download your maps is to use Garmin Express to download them to a microsd of your...
