    Alright I used 3/16 on standard holes with 3/4 grip length. On worn holes I jumped up to 1/4" with same length.

    Ya I have done this to mine. I used a over sized rivet stainless steel, can't remember size, make sure you use a pneumatic rivet gun to get them tight. A hand one won't work good enough. Good luck.
