Is the frog bite any good on Nickajack? I’ve only fished that lake once and it was wary springtime.

I have the exact motor and had the exact same issue a couple years ago. Tried to get on plane and alarm would sound and motor would go into limp mode, then alarm would stop and motor would idle fine....

+1^, As long as the boat has been taken care of, kept out of the elements, and hasn't hit anything of any size at high speed it should be good to go. Always check inside and out for cracks and soft...

Krogers- I live in Smyrna close to Priest as well. We are heading down next Saturday and will be putting in at Goose Pond. Its a great area and lake to fish. We have become addicted to Guntersville....
