I had to relighted the knobs on my bracket today 126, not positive if they were firmly in place, to be honest. Anyways, I’m going to apply some blue loc tite on threads.

Wire gauge should be 10 ga. from battery to unit.
Jimmy Houston just put out a pretty good video, and one topic was what color screen. It boils down to user preference for the most part. Just go in the menu for screen color to see what color works...
Forward here, just installed a mount for perspective mode, which is primarily for 15 feet of water or less, I want to get familiar with that style of fishing. Drop off type structure in particular.
OK, I’ll adjust accordingly.
Thank You for the reply. Auto mode it is. Perhaps I’ll use manual for forward or down view, I noticed yesterday on the water that waves can cause it to toggle from forward to down view.
Just received a perspective mode mount, and installed it. Will my Garmin unit recognize perspective mode when the transducer is in perspective orientation, or do I have to go into the menu and select...
I have a Bimini top on my Tracker pt 175 too. It’s nice being able to get out of the sun for a little while, especially when I eat lunch. Very practical.
Just got a 48 AH from amped outdoors, almost done with wiring. By Rangerfive1niners report, looks like it’s a good choice. I also went with the harbor freight plastic ammo box, and inserted plastic...
Totally agree ^ I can feel a drop shot rig, and down vu happening soon, it mixes things up, and at a better pace too.
102sv, PS22 and livescope lvs32 Both connections are Ethernet.
It seems like the PS22 transducer would be very useful to easily see suspended fish. It’s a step up from the lvs12, so the range and definition is improved. It is designed for forward view. The...
Thank’s, looking forward to getting out on the water next week.
All set, 106 has 2 network ports, which I thought were for just for connecting to other Garmin units. So rj45 marine connection goes in one of the 2 network ports. 12 pin evidently is for another...
Hi all, upgraded from a Garmin 93sv to a Garmin 106sv The 106 has a 12 pin, yellow color on unit, cable from gls10 has 8 pin, wondering if someone can give me direction on where I can locate an...

Looking for a Garmin 106 sv lightly used, no transducer.

This is my configuration, stowaway mount on bow, gls10 in compartment, wires are run under panel along side of deck.
I located mine here, it will be placed more forward when install is complete.
That’s good you have a separate power supply for the gls 10 module, it won’t draw your power down from you’re starting battery. It’s easy enough to swap out a tool battery when you draw down the...
Good point JR19, transducer should be protected while traveling on roads.
Thank’s for sharing that video. I wonder if a planer board was used, would they scatter too.
Switch makes good sense to, keeping in mind you don’t want a signal going to the transducer out of water. I would think 1 inline fuse is adequate, barring any fuse recall, never heard of that though.
