So the NMEA data is showing the block temp at the thermosensor which could go as high as 302 before shutting down? Do they make a water temp display for nmea 2k or analog at the thermoswitch/water...
Right but full open doesn't necessarily mean max operating temp...?? I cruise in that range all day long but when I run WOT for awhile she warms up...
Do SHO's have poppet valves?
It was running that with a stuck stat. Replaced both and nothing else. Many have said it's normal. Have you changed your stats and do you have a SHO?
We're you running WOT with the pc hooked up?
Please say it  I will believe
Lol, if I blow a powerhead and have to buy a new one then I won't be eating
WOT in a SHO? When is the last time that you changed your thermostats?
WOT? When is the last time that you changed your thermostats?
Good question. You would need something for it to latch to/at.
What temp are you SHO guys running WOT?
I hit 194 degrees on my graph today after about 10 mins WOT, no alarms, 18 psi water pressure.
I know we cruise around 140 but I've heard upwards of 200 is...

Do you know what was changed? I seem to recall most before and some after were part of it but not mine... never could figure that out.
It's on back order. Its been about 70 hours and a few years since changed. Again, this temp is only since stats were changed and system was flushed.
Not to hi-jack but can you check mine too?

2012 SHO 225.
Just pulled stats, flushed system, and installed new stats. Changed lower and engine oils and prop seals.
Sprayed Quiksilver Power Tune in air intake. Ran her in a tub in driveway....
I searched on partsvu but found 4 different manuals. Does anyone have a part number for a 2012 (7/11) VF225LA?
I've heard pros and cons of both.
What flow meter setup do you have?
Pull it, stick your finger over the hole, and fix it. Will lose minimum, probably not even enough to have to top it off.
This is for basically for a 100 hours service, water pump, and thermostats... anything else I should consider?
90430-14M09 - 1 x Yamaha Oil Plug Drain Gasket
ACC-GLUBE-HD - 2 x Yamalube 4.2L V6...
Do you have to pull the manifold to replace the hose coming from the thermostat on the starboard side?
