Also, try not squeezing the mold together so hard. That will help make sure the air can get out of the mold quick enough for the lead.

Check out the FB page for the shop at the bullock boat ramp. https://www.facebook.com/NanaBsBoatDockBait/?fref=ts
All of the NKY lakes have good fish, they just get a lot of pressure, so they're...
I would rather save on a camera body and buy something used, but invest in some good glass. None of the kit lenses are worth wasting the money on IMO.
What's was your fill on that last shot?
Nice! That's great. I'm excited to give Dale another chance. Hopefully, we'll catch a few.
Thanks for the info. We will likely go out at night also, but I'm sure we won't venture too far from the marina.
Anybody been to Dale recently? I might get the chance to sneak away for a weekend coming up. Only been there once, and we didn't do that good. I know it's probably not the best time to be going,...
Yeah, I think that's the most likely explanation. There was a small alligator caught in a lake here in Northern KY a few years back, and I believe they figured out that's how it got here.
A lot of times, the mold doesn't fill up because it's not letting air out fast enough. Lead goes in, and air has to come out. Make sure you're not giving it the kung fu death grip--just lightly...
Nice!
Fished with my Dad in Eddy creek mostly. Friday, caught a few keepers scattered on jigs and a jerk bait. My dad was fishing for crappie mostly, and he even caught quite a few keeper bass on crappie...
Yep. Sorry for the late reply, I didn't have an internet connection. Also, +1 for the Barkley burger. How'd you guys do?
I agree. I like them a lot!
I'll be at eddy creek Thursday. Hopefully, the ramp is open! I'll let you know what I find out.
Eclipse and pec pads. That will do the trick.
I agree.
I usually put a little black in my green pumpkin. I don't like how bright it is sometimes.
I've been using the naked baits one for a while. I'm pretty pleased with it. It's not hard at all to get the tabs through the bands. The tube/pencil type that I have sucks. It could just be the...
The Rugby jig is awesome, as I'm sure you know--that's why you want the mold. I used them a TON, but I made the switch to football swing jigs. Plus, I can use whatever hook I want on them.
You'll see it wearing off, and you will notice that things don't drop free or come out of the mold as easily. It lasts a while, and you'll want to treat the mold before it gets hot. You can only...
The graphite mold prep stuff is the way to go. The Drop Out spray is really easy to use, and it lasts a long time.
I'm just jealous that he gets to fish that much
The problem with this one, is that it uses a shock sensor. That doesn't work so well when the boat is in the slip. They even tell you that. The Tacklesmith one is nice, but uses reed switches on...
I use a graphite mold treatment rather than smoking with soot. Rapine mould prep is the best.

But, this stuff is ok too. ...
The things we KY hillbillies will go through to keep people from stealing our $8 fishing rods and stinkbait.
