I bought a set of alum rims for my trailer from recstuff.com Good selection and price. Been rolling them for about 3-4 years and no problems.

Recstuff.com has a nice selection of oem and custom rims. You can purchase just rims or rim/tire combo.

About a month ago my son purchased that same exact prop for his 175txw. Very good handling, holeshot, and lift. Hope you enjoy it

Just curious but I about to move mine up one hole. Mine is a 75 4s. What were your rpms before moving it up and are you running an alum or ss prop?

Does anyone have an idea of about how many rpms could be gained by raising a 75 4s from the 2nd hole to the 3rd hole?

Eld was not the answer. Didnt run bad but certainly not great. Spoke with powertech today and they suggested nrs. Has anyone run a nrs or turbo on a 175txw

You will most likely want to trim past level to get the hull to lift and get on pad for the most speed. For running at midrange you will be trimmed closer to level give or take. I have a trim gauge...

I could never get mine to run that high. I think most that are running higher are running something other than a powertech prop. Mine settled at about 4-3/4" ptp. I think I would try and drop it...

Maybe spray some PB Blaster on it for a day or so. It usually works pretty well on frozen bolts.

I actually measured mine when I got home yesterday and with cav plate level it was 3-3/8" to bottom of boat.

You may want to try raising your jackplate 1/4" at a time until you can find a sweet spot. It should gain some rpms and a little speed

I have the same setup but I'm running a powertech TSO 19p which does have a slightly smaller diameter. 13.375 if I'm not mistaken. It does decent but will blowout if trimmed too high or tight turns....

Are your speeds gps or speedometer? What model powertech are you running?
