Does any one know these motors should idle at? Mine is idling at 1100-1200 and it seems that it is hard on the lower unit when it is put in gear. Any help would be appreciated.

I got penzoil xlf because the guy that owned it before me was running that but I'm using don's cocktail with merc products.

The guy that owned it before me ran the synthetic blend penzoil would that be good to run in this engine.

Always had merc efi's and just got a 200 carb Johnson venom. Was wondering about running the mercury premium oil and quick clean in the Johnson or do I need to switch to the Johnson products?
