A thicker gasket would negate having the heads milled. Why only .040"?
.060" should put you at 135-140 psi cranking. 2-3 mph increase is common.
Same issue with mine exactly. I have a new key switch just haven't installed it yet. Curious to see the outcome.
lol I hear that.
Sounds good, it would be nice to see some measurments to verify. I assume you meant rotating weight?
Measurably faster or "I think it feels faster because I spent money" faster? Not trying to be difficult but I like to quantify changes before spending $$$.
Please post up the performance results, I can't wrap my head around a lightweight flywheel improving performance. I get the benefits of less rotating mass being easier on the top bearing with reduced...
Ihave run a 26,27,and a 28" Scorpion on my rig, FYI they run 2" pitch over rated, in other words your 26" will run like a 28".
Limiter is about 6200, Completely safe at 6000. 5900 is perfect, not much power past that anyhow.
No that is from two owners with 3.1ox66 ported with phase 3 kit. 6700 shouldn't hurt it. And yes factory limiter is low 6's not sure where everyone I've owned I've disabled. Not that it matters they...
I’m pretty sure the factory limiter is around 6100. Most I’ve talked to run them around 6700.
Thanks very much Mat, I appreciate the info!
I’m hoping someone from Hydrotec can chime in. Can anyone tell me the difference between cutting the stock heads on a 3.1l and the Hydrotec heads? Different chamber/squish band? Cranking psi with the...
Hi I'd love a copy just bought a 2003 ox66 250.
Much appreciated!

could be any of the things mentioned, but it sounds like it is going failsafe from and electrical issue.
mine had a bad knock sensor and would act the same. failsafe = fixed timing and raised idle,...
