No idea if the picture upload works.
If it does, see attached.
The ears don't really have cupping. It's more of a lip.

I have a no-name 4 blade stainless prop that I have no clue what it is.
The barrel is just over 3 and 7/8 inches in diameter.
The ears are about 8 and 3/8 inches long.
The pitch appears to be...
Twin power poles on mine. Love it. Hole shot is awesome with a full tournament load and gas. Slower out of the hole when I fill up the livewell, but still does fine. Twin 26 gallon gas tanks.
If the cable is still there, do I have to worry about replacing it? I didn't pull it all the way out.
Do you happen to have a picture so I know what I'm looking at when I get home?
Accidentally left the break away cable for the trailer attached to my truck as I pulled it away after parking. The brakes are locked. I need to know how to reset the actuator (or whatever it's...
Will post a couple tonight!
@Yelosub
Yep, that was the one!
I drove from WI down to Texas last weekend to buy Tony Murray's Caracal. This boat is beautiful!
you make my mouth drool :nanner::roll:
This is spot on. The overflows are set low and drain more everytime you get on or off pad. Rough water will drain more. I usually don't worry about it, but if I know I'm going to be fishing on a...
I'm drooling...... :praying: This will be me in the next year or 2...
Absolutely gorgeous boat.
Mine too are Mayfair cartridges.
One of the problems I was having was my old carpet folding down into the hole. It was causing more binding than normal. Just another thing for you to make sure isn't happening.
I was able to pop the epoxy out of my bilge with a hammer and a flat edge. Just kept tapping it until it popped up. It came off in 1 chunk. I epoxied my new one in the exact same place.
I also have a 96 188D and don't have have this problem. My dad has a 01' 201D that does not have the problem. There must be an issue somewhere.
Has it always done that or is it just something...
I'm pretty sure my original stuff was flow-rite. I replaced it all about 3 years ago with flow-rite. Really just replaced the baffle, cable, and switch
Flow-Rite is going to have the valves you need.
Always good to have a backup plan!
Does anyone have any ideas for removing the rear most nuts on the bottom of the hand rails so a guy can to a thorough buff/polish/wax?
The front ones are fairly easy to get to, but the back ones...
I may give this a shot on my 188. Sounds promising at the very least.
Also, what RPMs, GPS speed, water pressure are you running at?
95 is correct.
That 87 may be a bayliner cobra
well that gives me hope. Mine does not run into any pipes. Just into the lockers. I'll have to climb in there and see what will fit and where it can go.
Yeah, my lids have seals as well. However with the drain holes in the front corners, it doesn't even matter how well it's sealed, a hard rain with drain into the lockers. I couldn't believe it when I...
