A 20 FT Bullet with a Promax is a fun rig. I owned one for 5 years. I ran an A45 and a 26 Trophy plus on mine also.
I can see where people would think they look better but I'd never give up that space they take. The only way I'd have one is to be given one.
I wish them good luck but that can be very difficult. I found a guy floating at Jordan Lake that they had been looking for 5 days. He was even still in the same cove the incident happened in.

I used to get my props from Jacos. Always a good price and quick delivery.
That lake was the best lake in the state way before the slot ever even came around.
.
Huge Tourny trails always started there. in FEB and MAR sometimes you had to park out on the road there were so many trailers and trucks. This was every year in the late 80s early 90s. The slot...
The slot was created to stop big tournaments. The state has screwed up Harris way more than not having a slot ever did.
My BASS Fantasy Group is up. Same as last year.
Name: Carolina Bassers
PW: bassers
You can launch at Ebenezer. Well I did yesterday (20 NOV). New Hope is good also. Just leave the cove on the left side going out.
I went there a couple weeks ago bass fishing. The rainy day and it was ok. Better than normal for Harris. But man I went this week and it was TOUGH. I'm going to Jordan next.
I've never caught one in NC. I've caught them in VA, AL and KY. I did go to Lake James once trying to catch one but didn't catch much of anything.
I don’t think that put near the pressure as those two 35+ lb bags caught two weekends in a row a couple years before. That is what got MLF there in the first place. I fished Harris before he caught...
:praying: I have at least one of his cranks. It's kinda pretty and I'm a afraid to throw it. RIP man.
It’s probably more a of a weight thing. I have power poles on mine and it will porpoise more with different fuel levels. I have not filled the live wells and run it yet (I don’t fish Tourneys...
Half of a bass' job every day is to make you feel like you don't know what you are doing. The other half is eating. :nanner:
I have seen the waves so bad at Farrington that when a guy was launching his aluminum bass tracker the waves just snatched the boat off the trailer and capsized it. His gas tank was floating in the...
Now that you mention it there was a guy with a camper that used to stay days at the Harris ramp.
Just a couple weeks before we start. Get in if yer gittin.
I knew somebody that spent the night at Poe's Ridge many years ag awaiting for me to arrive but people and things are much dumber now so I don't really know if it's a bad idea or against the law. The...
Not really. Nothing extremely close.
A great time to catch a pig and can be done on either lake. Ramps are cool and you can avoid paying to launch. Both lakes would regularly be ready to fire for somebody with little knowledge of the...
When I was there Monday there were a ton of boats. I did not see a single fish boated. I was waiting on somebody put one in the boat. But somebody had to be catching something.
They stopped him right before he was going to testify. They need to get him here so they can control what he says. They is "you know who".
