Make a pattern out of paper first. You'll need to cut slits or v- notches depending on which way the curve goes.

Open to anyone or do you have to be a member of some org?
I've been thinking about adding one these and just mounting it back by the batteries. Since I'm back there flipping breakers on and off every time I'm on the boat. Could probably just stick it the...
Download the "Windy" app. You can set it to pull from 3 or 4 different models.

Or fish shallow rocky rivers!
Raises ✋. I like to fish all day and can be at Erie or LSC in an hours or less.
I prop mine open with a 3" pcs of hollow pool noodle. Just clip it over the edge of the each lid when I'm covering it up for the night. I also use them if I'm out and things start to get really warm.
For $10.00 I'd launch here and run north to the mile roads, its about 30min from WS. You could launch down river a ways too and run up to LSC or down to Erie. Erie has a great SMB fishing as well. ...
Mine has been in the water since late April... Tied off on four points, cant touch anything. Its getting a little dirty, but no algae growth. Might pick up a cheap used hoist for it this fall/early...
I'd go to Grand Traverse Bay personal, we put in at Elk Rapids or East Grand Traverse Bay depending on the wind.

Any thing green pumpkin + bluegill cranks/swim baits.
If he has transportation the opportunities are limitless. If he is on a bike, its about 2.5 miles to river, but I would head to Belle Isle and beat the banks there.
I looked at both when I was kicking tires as the C was a bit cheaper. I ended up with regular 188 because I don't need a front live well and I liked the layout better.
Have not gotten that far yet, still trying to figure out how to access that part of the gunnel w/o taking the deck off. I'll prob just end up using strips, and run the wires under the black trim pcs...
Has anyone installed these on a RT 188? Looking to add 4 on the bow, 2 on the rear deck. Maybe one or two under the seats facing forward. Probably hook them in to the switch for the interior light.
I snagged a 2015 Rt-188 with 75 Hours on for under $18K from a ranger dealer. All the prvt market ones I looked at were north of $22K with more hours
scroll down a bit to the "tin boats" sub forum. Lots of info for RT178/188 mods.
Michigan- fishing Erie, LSC and the Detroit River.
