It was the bearing cage on the crank so it damaged the crank as well as the cylinder wall. The 93 model I can purcahsed can be picked up for $1500.00. No one in this area does any machine work on...
i have a 1996 Johnson V6 175 hp. I recently lost #6 cyinder as the bearing cage let loose and damaged the cylinder. I found a 93 150 hp power head with very low hours. (It has a 25" mid secction...
Well it finally happened :crying:, my 1996 175 60° lost the rod bearing on #6 cylinder. So.. now It’s Time to work on it. I’m looking for a pair of those 1991 heads. Anyone have a pair for sale...
Any Ethanonal free gas in the Bees Wax area?
Much thanks.
Good to hear she's filling back up. Bass Nations is having a High School bass Tournament this weekend. The low water was really going to be a bummer. Never fished it but that will change after...
Yes it has the large foot, with a 15 spline shaft.
Very common for most over 115 hp and some of those got the larger foot as well.
Sorry I'm at work and will not make it home until May. Basicly built a 3/4 foundation for the battery boxes slightly over sized for the hold down straps. Screwed the plywood foundation to the hull...
Not too sure about the 95 Model. Do not think it is much different than my 96 Model, which has different alarms via sound and beeps... Common reasons for alarms are-- Oil Level low, motor Over heat,...
Wish we would have exchanged info earlier I might have gone that route, but I already have the 26 Raker (Original Type) and the original 25 Renegade that came with the boat years ago. I found the...
I would be guessing 55-57 MPH with 2 guys & all gear, maybe touch 60 MPH trimmed out with fuel tank 1/2 full with a single 200 lbs man on board... That 24 pitch Raker--- I'd figure you should get...
I cut out some 3/4 plywood large enough for both batteries and securing strap hardware. (3" longer and wider than batteries themselves. I then painted the Plywood Black to match the area. Secured...
I do not think you will get any more than 6" out of your present factory cables. If you push the motor any further back than that your angle will be harsh coming out of the deck that is if you if...
It was a slow start but the club is going strong and has completed all their normal Tournaments for their first year. Only the Classic is left. The lake which the kids will fish for the classic has...
My 2 cents on the BPS ProQualifier Baitcast reels is to stay away from them. I own(ed) two BPS PQ baitcast reels and two of the open face models as well, and both of the baitcast reels gave me...
I have the Lews on an ALL Star rod and for deep cranking I would stick with the 5.1:1 if you plan on doing anything thing else with it I would stick with the 6.4:1. Both are plenty strong for those...
Ooookay... thats a good reason to pick one up...
Put the data on here, --- Motor, RPM's, Prop type and pitch, GPS speed, Jack plate setting.
I figured it would be pretty hard to have a Motor mounted to high with a 150 mounted directly to the Hull. Is that possible?
:yesnod: Thanks for all the info... but I know & completely understand that OMC / Evinrude had 2 different Thrust washers, my questions is why? And what will it affect to run it with the wrong one...
Thanks for the reply... cost? And turn around time?
But what effect does it have? The prop is tight, and does not rub or contact anything? If you go with an after market prop there is no specific washer for each of them.
96 Boat 185 E Hydra-Sports
1996 175hp 60 deg Johnson
Original Prop was the 25 Renegade and Jake plate was set up for it and not moved for testing of the Raker.
Water pressure in the high 20's...
Kool-aid was a old navy trick. A small pouch in a pint of water. Then spray it down with WD-40. Wipe dry and store. Works on brass, and most other metals.
I have 3 props on the board for sale or trade. Raker 23--- Ballistic 23 --- and the 27 Renegade would like to swap one for a 25 Tempest or 26 Raker. All are in like new shape. The 23's are for the...
