Wow!! That's a lot of experience right there.
Thanks for taking the time to share.
I will be giving Gary a call at Raymarine repair to have a little more discussion about repairing my unit.
Hickory,
By APS comment he gets about two years out of his A128. My experience has been about the same.
I can pay the flat bench repair charge of $900 W/6 months warranty and hope/pray for two...

I agree with the A128 returns being good. I am hesitant to spend $900 and hope I get two years use.
I do not have any current experience with the Axiom or any of the competitions MFD's.
That...

I met you 3 or so years ago at the Houston boat show. I still have the hand drawn picture you made for me explaining my layout. I had no idea.
I agree I'm in a tough spot and yes it is a bass...
Jig34 thank you. Your comment was one of my concerns.
Raymarine wants $900 to replace the A128 screen W/6 month, $1600 for refurbished A128 W/2 year, or $1800 for new Axiom W/ 3 year.
To get the...
Correct. That is why I would isolate the A127 and upgrade the ES128 to LH3. Have the Axiom and ES128 networked. I am on a learning curve.
Current networked system is a dash front mounted A128, ram mounted A127, and bow front mounted ES128 in a 21 foot bass boat.
The dash A128 touchscreen has failed for the second time in four years....
I have been on Lake Fork for a week. Only bass boats I have seen with a Honda is mine and MLF pro Jessie Wiggins. I think Paul Elias runs a Honda but have not seen him. In three years I have only...

Found expensive looking power pack in the road near the Marina office. It was still dark this morning 3-14-20 when found. You can go to the office, tell the ladies the brand/model number to recover....
Do you know the brand and the type of clear sealant used at the factory on the rub rail?
Thanks
Hickory,
Thank you for your reply.
Surprised more opinions were not posted.
Will be using Mercury High Performance.
Honda brand lower unit oil is not a shelf item near me.
Buying online and shipping is expensive.
Would it be a bad idea to use another brand in a BF-250?
Most boat owners I know swear by Mercury...
I agree. Really just need it to do periodic maintenance. Anything more would be done by a dealer. I was just hoping there was a source that I could get the manual and a couple quarts of oil for...

Correction. Units are 127 and 128 A series not e.
Simple fix.
I was touching the word screen capture on the screen.
I have to touch the camera dead center.
Hard to do in rough water.
Figured it...
Yes and yes.
Waypoints and tracks are saved on the SD2 card. No problem to import or export them. Issue only with screen capture.
Yes. Raymarine e series.
Have done as you suggest.
No screen captures to select.
SD 2 is selected in display preference to save screen captures.
Does not appear to be happening.
Saved screen captures to SD2. Verified in dispaly preference.
Should I be able to view them on the 1128 or 27 series?
Did what the manual said on page 56 to view captures but do not appear to be in...
Saved waypoints and tracks to Navionics card and not sure what to do now. The Raymarine 128 e is still working properly. Just need guidance on how to undo what I did and the save data to sd2 like I...
It worked perfect.
Nothing blew up or caught on fire.
Thanks
Hickory, thank you for your reply.
When I pulled the console Raymarine MFD for warranty work I saw that the STNG cable from the MFD STNG port only went to the STNG backbone, and the STNG...
