Thank you sir!
Champion 223, 10” plate, 4” below, VMax T1 25p. Speed when I noticed this issue was 45-50 mph. I don’t think it’s a lack of water intake. The SHO is just past break in hours and I was quite surprised...
Interesting. And confusing as I now have no idea what’s causing this.
2023 SHO 250. The water pressure gauge is indicating a pressure release at between 20 and 25 lbs, going down to about 12 lbs then closing and going back up then releasing the pressure again. I’ve...
Although I'm currently using the SY5, I would prefer to use the gauges in my bass boat, most likely Teleflex but I'm not sure of that. I don't like the SY5, its hard to read with sunglasses.
Thanks Yam. Yes he and all his help are confused. Is a conversion harness necessary to hook up to my analog gauges? They could not make the trim or tach in my boat work, and I paid for the 6Y5...
Bought a 250 SHO and dealer said that outboard will not drive analog gauges, and installed a Yamaha digital tach (not command link) 6Y5. I went under the console today to insure an audible horn was...
Thanks Joe. I'd haul it up to you but there is no trailer, had to bum one from another neighbor to do what I've done. Pontoon that lives in Toledo Bend..
Plugs are BPZ8HN-10 @.039. Motor ran...
What you describe sounds very much like a TPS or link and sync issue.

Cranks up and idles well with all 3 firing. Any attempt to go above idle is met with a badly faltering engine. Carbs cleaned recently / filter changed recently, fuel flow seems to be...
The leftist view of management ran a lot of people off.
Tough to beat that bunch!!
It is extreme to title an out of state boat in Texas. Your bank needs to cooperate with you a little better.
I’ll lie to you if you demand it!!!
Thanks all. WB wins the prize.
I been drinking a lot of beer......
Might be a little hard to get something to eat. Take out only.
That’s how the fight started.
Was that the 5 guys who didn’t speak English? Watched them paddle all the way across the lake but they didn’t want help. Wind was brutal at times.
I’m taking 2” but what do I know.
You’re missing some really tough weather to fish in. Cold and ugly this week.
I’ve never been in a 221 so I really don’t know of the differences.
The lake is actually easier to run with low water because you can see the timber. But being unfamiliar with it, it’s just best to idle if not in a marked lane. I do unless I know exactly where I am...
Find a boat ramp that works before making the drive. Many don’t work at this water level, and many do. If you are not in a marked boat lane, idle. Unless you need a new outboard.
Indeed they are. Clemson is VERY good and can’t handle them.
