not much water to take out lol.
normally I'd say bigger is better but I don't think so in this instance. This test boat went 62.5mph LIGHT load, my buddy has a 2018 z18 with the new 175hp 4 stroke and it also will only do 62-63mph...
does that void warranty? And this thing will fly lol.
This is considered normal to have to pump the ball every startup? Seems ridiculous....
I have the same issue. Going to the dealer this week.
People say the tempest is a little quicker because of bow lift. 26p tempest and 25p fury will turn similar rpms.
I'm no expert but every 4 blade I ran was rougher. I assuming the amount of grip/force pulling the boat down to the water. Noticeably different vs every 3 blade I ran.
Try a 21p or 22p tempest. Also try running at 2.75 or 3".
I have a gen 1 8ft power pole with a console switch and wired foot switches that I'm taking good off my boat. Nothing wrong with it, I just got an ultrex and don't really use the power pole much....
P2p at 3", factory jp, solo, light load, wells empty, 1/3 tank of gas. No poles or talons. Very light load for a bass boat.
We swapped props and adjusted the pad to prop with not much improvement. Once it cools off it might hit 64mph.
That also...
My 200hp z7 doesn't spin a 25p fury very well loaded in the summer. 200hp has more displacement plus the additional hp. Different climates, humidity and elevation play big roles in speed. A lot of...
Idk what planet this cat is on but you aren't spinning a 175hp optimax to 6400rpms, not a stock motor at least.
^^^^ this.... A 23/24p fury or 24p tempest will work. 25p fury is waaaay too much wheel.
It's actually stamped fs, inside of the prop. Thanks.
Fs have a shorter barrel right?
My question is I'm buying a lightly used 48 831914 26p , is has single vent holes. Is this the bravo fs?
My buddies came with a 22p tempest and it turned 5900 and ran 63mph. Tried a fury 3 24p and it ran 62mph at 5100 rpms. *♂️
pitch for pitch the bravo xs is better than the fury 4 for holeshot.
red plug at BPS fits good. You'll need the plug if you want to use the live wells.
It's the pump out/recirculate valve.
all the new 4 strokes are geared different and running smaller props.
Keep the plug on the bottom

63mph on probably an empty boat sucks.
