FYI, If the motor still has the original low pressure fuel pumps, I'd replace as a maintenance item (cheap and not to bad to change)
Followed the 1:10 for 17 years on my 150 hpdi... so far so good...
Could I have saved some money by using less.... I'll never know... I do know if I ever get rich enough to own a $30k to $40k...

Yep had good luck SIM and used for years and good luck at Boats.net but you have to buy the parts by the each vs SIM's "kits"

I don't think to a true 200, I'm pretty sure there are internal part differences.
But you can do things such as this site has...
I like replacing most everything, SIM Yamaha has nice kits, I'm fixing to do a deluxe kit on my 2001.
Do you have to replace everything... Most times probably not but, but it makes me feel better...

Look up a guy that goes by the handle "Rodbolt" on iBoats.com HPDI expert. The excess smoke could be the leaking low pressure pumps.
I'd say it's time to replace or rebuilt if you want your Low-Pressure Fuel pumps if you've never done them before.
They only last so long before the diagram starts leaking.
Tried to rent our Cabin in Pigeon Forge thru VRBO this morning but they told me it was too early to rent.... So going to try some others....

No won't hurt your tires, but it's not for clear coated wheels, but if they where clear coated they wouldn't be oxidized
