Is that 200 Opti or 200 EFI? I had '06 with 200 Opti. You will need to be closer to flush, but I hate to gauge by the top of the plate. Measure true prop to pad. You will probably end somewhere...

I always liked 25 Tempest most-70-71 on limiter. 25 Fury could get a few more mph in cooler weather-72 2 big guys, tournament loaded, blast off, early AM spring morning. Never ran the Fury much more...
check throttle. make sure it's opening all the way up
Sounds reasonable if boat is in good shape.
Fury runs approximately 1" stiffer in pitch than Tempest. (24 Fury = 25 Tempest) In my experience, the Fury has better holeshot, but I like the bow lift of the Tempest better for my rig. Depends...
come up to 4 or 3-1/2 below and see how it does. Need to know rpms at break over as well to determine if venting will help
I have an '06 w/200 Optimax. It's a 70 mph rig, doesn't mind the rough stuff. If you find a Cat in your price range, and you like the layout, that should be enough of a decision maker.
That's...
not if you can't turn it...
A 25 Fury is a little too stiff for my rig in the warmer months. Holeshot is good, but I cant spin enough RPMs on top. I run 25 Tempest. You might can run 25 Fury light. If you like the Fury, try...
no
Sounds like it could come down 1/2" or so
I run 25 Tempest, +/-3" below, same speeds as stated above. Ran a 25 Fury in springtime (cooler weather) and was able to spin it pretty good, 71-72 blasting off, partner and loaded to fish, empty...
Sounds like a 25 Tempest would work better than that 26
I don't think the 7 Marine would be as fast as expected in the above posts. Wrong application. Be better with 300X. Regardless, at those speeds, you will have to drive it
OP, are you just...
2.5 or 3.0? Trophy or Trophy Plus? Any holes, plugs, blowout ring and what size plugs?
Sounds like a 25 Tempest would work for summer prop, but without actual numbers, that's only a guess.
Sounds like too deep and too much prop, and unless ECU has been flashed, you should have hit limiter at 6,000...
I know I'm not Rick..., but you wouldn't need a Sportmaster until you are running 85+ and a surfacing prop. If you are going to gut the boat and run top-end, you might benefit from a coned case
what motor?
Have you tried the original Bravo?
Those numbers seem to be pretty good already. Just curious, what are you trying to change? Lift, top end, holeshot?
Usually LOSE RPMs with a 4 blade vs 3 blade. He needs more RPMs
Unless you had limiter raised, you might want to check your tach
I see you're in LA. Call Brian over at Holeshot and see if he has any more SL4s to test. I tried one a year or so ago when they were new, and I was amazed at the way it lifted and handled with my...
For $100 Bass Cat will give you a Lifetime Warranty on the hull. Can you get that on the Blazer?

I am biased, too
