i'm still thinking neutral safety switch though... just not sure how to test it... I put the two wires together and the motor cranked ... just wouldn't run... ignition switched worked fine as far as...
I was wrong.... Bypassing it doesn't work...at least twisting the wires together doesn't work... Before it wouldn't crank at all... I disconnect the neutral safety switch and it will crank but won't...

thats what worried me... I ordered a cheapo switch just to rule it out... If it's not it I guess I'll have a spare switch... How do you test the neutral safety switch?...Its a top mount control...
battery brand new...I can crank the motor over perfectly by jumping the wires...Also tested battery with a battery tester and it read fine... trim and tilt works fine, other electronics work...
