I don't think you have to worry about your mixes drying up on you.The waterbase paint take a while to dry.You might as well get a hairdryer ready cause you are gonna get tired of waiting on them to...

Alot of nail polish is lacquer.I use all lacquer paint and on occasion have mixed finger nail polish to achieve a certain color.I'm not sure on how well it would hold up as a clearcoat though.
