This thread makes the motor choice a bit easier...
I wasn't aware that engine hours were stored on the ECU. If so, I won't do it.
I was thinking more that if something happened to the motor that was unrelated to the flash, swapping it back...
Is there any benefit to having a second ECU to flash and keeping the one that comes with the motor stock or does it not really matter?
I'm still curious what a flashed SHO would do on a Caracal as far as top speed. If it pushes it up into the 250 rig speed range, that sure makes it more attractive.
I have this same question and haven't seen an answer yet. With the 225 flashed to 250 or higher, what is the top speed on the Caracal?
