I sent my transom mount 360 in after bumping a stump. It was out of warranty and I paid my idiot fee but got back an essentially brand new unit.

Put a 6" hydraulic jackplate on it and get some new numbers before prop shopping. It will change how the boat performs.

I have a Ranger 175 and have no issues. For spot lock I put it on zero on calm days and +2 when the wind is howling. That seems to work best.
