Haven't been out there much lately. If I do go this time of year its usually Gridley. Stick to the two main coves. Not good on numbers there but many stout four pounders.

I pay 100 a year to fish Springfield Illinois. No ramp fees or problems. Or I go to the many other city lakes or state lakes and pay lets see. Absolutely nothing. Maybe its just your area.
