After posting earlier…I got it working. Spun the pod by hand a few times and ran my thumb over the depth sensors…not sure why it made it work but it did!

Thanks all…yeah, loose connection on the negative terminal. Added a terminal clamp on the post for just the motor, with everything else on the threaded post, and that seems to have fixed it!
