I installed my mercmonitor in place of my speedometer/voltmeter and put my jack plate gauge in place of my water pressure gauge. No drilling any extra holes and keep the same viewing angle.
I have these also. I love them nice and bright and no other lights to mount.
I would say a 10” on that hull. Mine came with a 6” and thats all they allow i wish i could run an 8”. I have an atlas on mine and have zero issues with it. Its been great. I like that you dont have...
Ran a 6” manual jack plate on mine from 2012 to 2019 when i sold it never had an issue with it. Handling and performance were improved quite a bit it was worth it. I gained 3 mph then another 2mph...
37 mph is 60 hp speed. I could run 38 gps at 6000 rpms with a ss 14p silverado prop. And idk whoever told you these hulls have a porpoising issue because that is false thats the Ranger style hulls...
I have hit 71 mph with no gear in the boat and a full tank of gas running alone and 70 with all my gear and half a tank of gas or so. I run very heavy on gear. With my dad with me it runs 68 pretty...
If you have the standard 150 engine it has a higher gearcase ratio vs the pro xs models. The 23p prop may be too big keeping your rpms down and the engine may be mounted too low. Hull lift is not a...
You do understand that not everyone has the capability and/or the equipment to do that with dont you? Yet they can still own a boat and may want the modification done. Like i seen someone else post...
Nor can you catch a fish running 50 mph. Never understood this argument. People never ever say i wish i had less power. Anyway i can say if you load down heavy with gear by the time you fill up...
The octane level is more important than whether its ethanol free or not. This is all very true. I have seen it first hand. A coworker has a 90/65 merc 4 stroke jet and he ran 91 octane 10% ethanol (...
Thanks. I ended up finding a thread and emailed him and asked and he said it wasnt a problem so i ordered a pair.
I just installed a set of blades on my Triton and i recall a couple years back someone posting they had covers for theirs with the Triton logo on them. If so where did you get them id like to get a...
Mine came factory with a top loader hot foot and i get full throttle with it. I think alot of that is the dealer mine has a good service guy and he goes over everything and made sure the wiring was...
Chemical Guys P40. I use their stuff exclusively anymore.
That creaking sound is the pivot pin at the top of the trim ram. Spray it with a teflon lubricant and i bet it goes away. My old 115 opti did the same think. I just sprayed that pin every time i...
I didnt know low revs were a chronic problem?
I have a torquemaster as well. I also have a hydraulic jp so i can adjust that on the fly to i end up about 2.75” below pad approx if i have it really aired out and getting top speed. It seems to hit...
What is your prop go pad? These hulls like to run with the engine up higher. But the throttle not reaching 100% could be part of it as well.
Thanks appreciate it!
Same exact numbers as im seeing with the 24p bravo i run. Very nice all around setup. Handles great insane holeshot and carries the hull nicely. Ive seen 71 light load a couple times will run...

What spark plug socket do these new v8s take? I had to use a standard 15mm socket (which i dont like) because it was the only one that would fit. A 5/8” spark plug socket will not...
Amazon sells a lot of their products or you can buy direct from Chemical Guys site. Prices are about the same either way. And yes 1 bottle will cover the trailer several times. I recommend applying...
No residue at all and no dust sticking. All of their products once dry are dry to the touch which is a huge plus. I dont like greasy residue on tires etc. the bottles arent that tough out of all the...
Another great product for that is their VRP dressing or tire and trim gel. Does wonders also i use it all the time.
