You can run crossover from little pigeon to big pigeon. Went thru there Tuesday. If you haven't been in ten years, the tower is gone and so is blue camp.
Well that explains the loss of RPMs. I added extra oil to reach the top of the fill mark. Is 6100 RPMs safe if I get the loss back after removing some oil?
And yes the squeal is only in gear. ...

Just got my 898 si working correctly after a patch from humminbird. Maps look ok till I scroll over to bayou pejion and bayou sorrel. Just a big blank spot. Are you kidding me, $1300 later still...
Fished Bayou Pigeon on Friday 8-24-07. Boated 27 bass with only 1 keeper. Stopped fishing at 11:00 am due to rain STORM! Once the clouds rolled in, the fish stopped hittin. WATER IS REAL LOW.

let me clairify, it is a 2-stroke. i do have a jack plate. trimmed all the way out, WOT i do run 5900 with good water pressure. but i usually back of the throttle to about 5200 with out losing much...
Prop is a 21 worked over by the guy that had it before me. I usually run about 5200rpm.
But it will trim out to about 5900rpm. Haven't really run gps test yet.
I have a deer camp outside Del Rio on Hwy 277. Maybe planning a Lake Amistad fishing trip this summer. Anyone have any info. Wear to fish? Hot summer lures?

Fished pigeon on monday caught at least 30 bass with 7 keepers. One flopped off the deck after measuring. Also ran trout lines after dark and did pretty good! Not too many brim to be found but didn't...
I have a 02 sx180 with the yamaha 115 2 stroke. The only complaint i have is the fuel consuption. i think this boat and motor burns more gas than larger boats and motors with fuel injection.

Got an 02' 115 v6 carb. on a 18 skeeter. This thing drinks gas. Any recommendations on improving gas mileage.
