I would install a merc monitor then you really dont need any other gauges.
Just because the air ride works doesn’t mean the shock is good. The shock may be low on oil/ gas and won’t be able to control the added weight

Seems common with etecs/magnums. My 250 with a 26 raker would blow out at break over but not to the point you had to lift off the throttle . Like Mike said Larger diameter would help.

Wire should be protected within a foot of the power source no matter what. The fuse/breaker is normally sized per the wire . You will still need the fuses at the front before the units.
Depends . If the boat wants more bow lift it might pick up rpm and speed. What’s your rpm now? Might gain 150rpm staying with the same pitch but I thik most go up 1 size going to a tempest
Is the second plug all the way in the pad? Did the revision level of the pad change? Did they make you give the part number of the old one?
How many/size of plugs in the prop?. Rpm at break over? Need more info for any advice to be helpful. A bravo fs would fix the issue
