another trick is just to turn on the trailer tow feature on the end of the gear shifter. that will also shut down the funky voltage charging system that disables the alternator.

I used the dame Block as ED but used different wire from west marine. and not as heavy of guage.
west marine has everything you need. marine wire is more flexible and easier to run.

had something similar happen to me after updating software. I had to do a hard reset on my hds touch units. it was like they were fighting each other trying to lock onto sirrus.

I had one of my 2 batterys go haywire and caused this same thing with my terrova. replaced both batterys since l ways relace them in pairs. and was like new again.

if the lights check out on your Black box, then call sirrus /XM and have them resend the initialization codes for your system. I have had to do this before with mine
