Negative on the CVT transmission. Just your standard 4 speed automatic.
My wife just got an oil change yesterday at the local Chevy/ Cadillac dealer. Its where she has gone for years to have it done. I will check the rear washer line when she gets back home. ...
The drip is clinging to the passenger/ front wheel well, directly behind the wheel. Not sure where the AC condensate tube is located on this car.
Edit: Just used a UV light in a dark garage....
Not that I am aware of.
Yes it is, the WW fluid is the standard blue color.
My wife has owned it since 2011. She had a water pump replaced several years ago, but no radiator work since then.
It's been orange colored coolant for at least the past 5 years. It did not smell like coolant and did not taste like it either.
That's the next chore. Was hoping someone knew what that small clear hose's purpose might be.
I agree, it looks like coolant but it's not. I have verified the coolant in the system is the orange colored long life stuff, not the green stuff.
Hoping someone out there can help me diagnose where this is coming from, or what it might be.
This is my wifes 2009 Toyota Rav 4 with the 2.5 liter four cylinder. I found a greenish colored...
Nice looking ride
I run a 27p Trophy Plus on my 2003 Cougar FTD. Motor is a 2003 Merc Racing 250 XS. Not sure of the prop to pad height. Nice hole shot and runs upper 70's with ease.
I bought a 2003 Cougar FTD this Spring with a Mercury Racing 250 XS for $20k. It was in really nice shape and had low hours.
The best part is that I knew the previous owner and how he took care of...
I grabbed a Husky 435 this morning and already have it running. Started on the 4th pull and runs good. I will probably mess
With the carb after a few tanks of fuel. It seems a little lean,...
Thanks for all the posts guys. After doing more research, I think I will go with the Husky over the Stihl. There is guy near my place that is a servicing dealer for Husky. He's the crusty old...
Looks like we have ourselves a classic Ford vs. Chevy thing going here.
Looking for some suggestions before I pull the trigger on a smaller saw. I need to replace an old Poulan 3314 (33 cc/ 14" bar) that recently gave up the ghost. I've had it for years and its...
I have a 2003 Cougar FTD with a Merc Racing 250 XS. It's a solid upper 70's boat. It has the lifetime hull warranty.
Most of the time I am happy running at 55-60 mph at 3/4 throttle. The...
Motor serial number is OT652532. While this is a racing motor, it is on a fishing boat. A good majority of the time spent with it running will not be wide open throttle.
It sees a good amount of...
My apologies Savage. I have been boatless bank trash for the past 3 years. Starting all over again and this time it's with an Optimax instead of EFI.
I have a guy local to me who swears by the stuff. He claims less carbon soot on his hub when compared to the Opti Oil.
He runs a 225 Pro XS and says he has run it since the warranty expired.

Update... I was able to get my bow mounted 998 up and running with SI and DI views. Turns out I had things backward on the transducer select menu. Once I got that sorted out, it worked perfectly....
I will do that when I get back home.
I have not been out at night or low light yet with it. All I can see is some very faint bottom signiture toward the left and right edges of the screen. The middle 2/3 of the screen is black like...
