Yes plugged into channel 2. Thats the only port the transducer will plug into. I see under specs the hds pro has like 200 less NITs or something like that compared to the carbon. Guess its just...

I am having the same issue with my new hds pro 12. Have to crank up contrast to where it blows out or use a bright palette. Transducer is good because its brand new and when i connect my other...
Have any of you guys noticed sidescan images on the new HDS Pro seem darker than on the carbon? This is really frustrating to me. I have moved contrast up to brighten but I just end up washing out...
Its an L1 so i think 1:86.
Yes all bugs got worked out with the engine. Stator meltdown caused timer base to stick. New stator and cleanup fixed that issue. The bogging later occurred when we accidentally sucked up a slug...
So apparently moving up 2 bolt holes which is 1.5 inches on the motor does not translate to 1.5 inches of lift. I guess the jackplate setback and angle changes measurements. Should have been at 3.5...
Just got back from lake.....verified at 3.5 inches. Running slower than it was at 5 inches below. Lost a lot of bow lift but it steers easier. Seem to be able to trim up for miles with not much...
Is the 20 and 21xl and the prostar the same hull?
Weather clearing tomorrow and have some time to test. Have to move engine up 2 holes to gain 1.5 inches of travel on jackplate. At highest setting as it is now jackplate maxes out at 4 inches below...
I will be moving engine up next weekend and testing. I tried a raker 26 a buddy had with engine set at 4.25 below pad. It would only turn 4800 rpms and when trimming up sounded like it wanted to...
30 plus psi on water pressure. In cool weather and just me and light load 5900 or so. Hot and humid conditions 5400 to 5600. Ive seen 62 to 65 mph with ideal conditions.
Any idea how I can gain some speed in my boat? Prop to pad is 5 inches below with everything leveled. Running a 25 renegade with weed ring and prop is in good shape. Wondered if someone with...
I had the same issue with bogging on acceleration. We rebuilt carbs and noticed that 2 of the 6 carbs had a restriction in the low speed tube. It is the small diameter brass tube that goes down...
Thanks for the info.
Has anyone successfully used the standard skimmer transducer to shoot thru fiberglass hull? Just wanted to know if it would work. Thanks
Noticed a partial clog in the low speed brass passage in 2 of the 6 carburetors. Cleaned and flushed with alcohol and reassembled. So far it appears this may have fixed the issue.
Yes the throttle roller has the clear sleeve....went back thru carbs today with fine tooth comb. How much torque on carb bolts? I tightened them just a touch more than hand tight in cross pattern...
No fuel alarm present also pumping bulb does not fix the issue. Would assume if carbs are full the anti siphon valve should be irrelevant right? Will keep trying things and keep posted.
I get what youre saying but, if there was an air leak or other condition in the carbs why wouldnt it bog down every time? It only does it once or twice in a whole day.
Still doing same thing...took off 10 or so times today fishing and it bogged down twice. Pushing in the choke gets it over the hump and up on plane. I know the carbs are clean so im not sure what...
Thanks...we are test running tomorrow will let you know how it goes. Idle timing right now is set at factory...still has the orange wax on adjustments. It idles very smooth but a touch high maybe...
I am currently running a 225 ho with low hours and good compression. It runs great other than the fact it bogs on acceleration maybe 1 or 2 times out of 15 takeoffs during the day of fishing. No...
I think we got it in a little better shape now. Thanks for all the replies. Unfortunately I cant eliminate all of the interference on my boat because of limited mounting locations. I moved it...
Im aware i should use heading up on the front for fishing waypoints. Question is should i use course up map orientation on the back unit so it doesnt appear my boat is travelling in a diagonal line...
Ever since installing my 3n1 transducer with my carbon 12, I have noticed that the fish arches are incomplete on 2d and when seeing the fish dots on downscan, they appear to be more of vertical lines...
