Very few warranty repairs require any pre approval. If the dealer, who is the one who can actually touch the outboard, believes the problem is due to a manufacturing fault or workmanship and said...
Replace the 4 with a 2 and then your statement is correct.

Another good site from Liquid Nirvana. This gentleman sourced brochures, technical presentations, owner's guide etc from all around the world.
That is wrong information simple as that. Not sure why a dealer can not think outside the box and unless you really need the impeller housing, which is the part the vendor can not supply currently...
The seal within the head assembly is 0313284.
Complete small block and big block G2 gearboxes in stock down here. Freight would be high though from Australia to CA.
I am correct on the EMM bit. Serial number check shows a carby V4 Johno built the 15th of October 2003.
No EMM on this outboard. With any outboard that is overheating the first place to start is the source of the cooling water, being the water pump.
Not a bulletin related to your age engine ( was related to a small serial group) but the CPS is cheap if you want to try throwing a new one at the engine, but does not sound from what you are saying...
It is important to have it installed correctly as per the picture, otherwise the transducer/sensor will not drain water and more importantly water can migrate into the wiring harness.
Well said Sir.
Correct, this age with have non compensated injectors so no programming needed. You can buy the software if you want it from the below place

Nice upgrade, would not be many of these hulls down here. At this stage your only real option, if you do not want to go to a larger HP outboard, is to fit the current 150HP and see how she performs....
OK, but what hull? Most likely have sold them over the last 50 odd years doing this as we have sold pretty much every glass or alloy brand made down here and some that are no longer made. A V6 150HP...
Many reasons with one being a dealer that goes about changing HP of said engine and then the user gets involved in an accident then it is on the head of who did the "re-work". In my very long time of...
Correct and that what it means in ole's post, the OMC system is not the same as BRP in terms of finding out stuff like you are after. A switched on tech can search knowledge centre for old bulletins...
No, Sea-doo does not use E-TEC technology.
The picture I posted was from the Evinrude brochure from back in the day. I do not have a javelin brochure, not a hull we saw down here. For what is worth below is a link to a site that a mate of...
No not as per the brochure back 30 years ago but your decals look good IMO. The cowling top could do with a respray though.449567

Yes the carby E/J from back in the day were very nice outboards with some cool engineering in these 60 degree loopers. Prop her to see around 5400RPM at WOT, make sure the boat's fuel system is not...
+1 to Seahorse and it will be an 8 and running that serial number it was sold back in May 2000 so to be still running 21 years later I think it would be safe to say the quality was good.
+1 and this is on the selling dealer. Not only what Seahorse said, but some dealers also do not commit to promos that are run from time to time by all OEM's.
A new 0439377 is in stock down here if you want to spend the coin on a new carby.
