If you can not visibly see gas there most likely is not a leak. It’s call permeation. Basically the tank leaks fumes out it’s pores. This is a common issue for those boats.

I have a 2006 Tr-196. When I run my live well in Timed mode my battery is going dead by the end of the tournament. I am running a Hummingbird 898 and a 999. I just bought all new optimas last year.
