At least get them to put an Ultrex on it.
I think Ranger has gone backwards on this. I could be on my front deck of my VS with a rod in one hand and the trolling motor cord in the other waiting for the boat to slow enough to drop it. safe?...
Another tip: if you can't get your long rods in the locker look up in there with a flashlight. Mine had carpet hanging down preventing my 7 footers from fitting. Now I can get 7'3" in there.
I never take the plug out, but I don't fish in the rain either. Never have water in the bilge.
Great little boats but tight for three. It is really amazing how well mine has held up for 22 years without any kind of repairs/issues with the hull itself. Dash looks as good as day 1 and the carpet...
I cleaned the inside of my boat for the first time in a couple of years and it was plenty disgusting. Crackers, Vienna sausage cans, Bernie weenie cans, little Debbie carcasses and who knows what...
California
Thanks everyone for the ideas. My cats bring roaches into the house along with used plastics. The boat is their favorite place to get some "alone time". Not sure if a bug bomb is a good idea for...
Thanks Dean. Sounds like a good plan.
I have them in my boat and some big ones with big poop balls. Anyone know what to do? The boat is in my garage.
Could have been a 150 for the 451 but it is bigger than the r70's.
You are correct Teambranham. The r80 and 82 are 300 hulls and single and double consoles. The r81 and 83 are 400 hulls. The 451 was rated to 175hp while the r70's are up to 130 or so. Don't see how...
you are correct. I think the r80 and 81's used the 300 hulls and the r82 and r83's used the 400 hulls with the setback. This may also apply to the r9x's also. The r7x models used hulls built for that...
I am running a Merc 125 with a 24P Lazer II. Best I have seen is 48 alone.
You need to stand on the lower unit and bounce while you look for flex.
If I were doing the job I would use 3M 5200 instead of silicone. I would also reach in a put some on the bolts after inserting them through the transom and before putting the washer and nut on. In...
Mine didn't have hs and didn't need it. Again, heck of a boat/motor rig. Wish I had mine back
Heck yeah it's a good boat. Will ride well and drive like a hot rod with that motor.
Why bother? Run that xri!!!
To me the console was just an afterthought or a rush job and the 185 and the 518 should be rated for a 175. These two boats are larger (I think) than the 461, more the size of a 481, and the 461 had...
if it doesn't read either tank then check the ground on the gauge itself. If it is reading one tank and not the other it is prob in the sending unit in the tank or a faulty connection between the...
Tight for three people. Great boat otherwise.
Looks like it to me. I guess that would work but that lid would need some serious reinforcements. It is hard to see but it looks like the tray extended to where the old pedestal base was.
I haven't done my r70 because I am afraid the pedal will be too close to the seat post. Otherwise I would cut away.
