Not sure what year of a 203 your talking about but i have a 36V Ultrexx on my 98. I have 3 troller batteries in my passenger rear compartment. If I could afford lithium I would go that route.

I have a 1998 203 and replaced my throttle cable with a new 15 foot cable ordered from Don at European Marine. Mercury part #897977A15.

Had Don Weed put a set of TDR's my 98 3L and it definitely changed her idle and throttle response. Sounds awesome coming off plane.
Got 3 group 27 Dekas in my port side battery compartment.
Got the 112 on my 203 and have no issues at all. Really like it.
