I'm happy with my PT18 and 150 Pro XL. more than enough room for two on the front deck. hope they go with a different hull as the PT18's are like barges. I can get 50mph on a good day, but it's a...

how does one go about getting a ST plate?
I had porpoising problems with my PT18. wedges didn't work. Crestliner built me a new hull.
can anyone tell me if the ramps on the Mississippi at La Crosse are open?
your making a joke right? when has Illinois never had budget shortfalls?
check with your dealer. I have a Talon on my PT 18. it is allowed as is a jp. the VT 19 is also ok with either.
and we all know that Tracker, Ranger, etc. never have problems with hull cracks. happens to just about every tin boat model made.
tracker might be a bit faster as the PT is wider and made with thicker aluminum. the PT is not much on speed but a great boat to fish from. the layout and storage is second to none.
I fish the Mississippi river at La Cross Wi. pike are all over. average size is about 5-8 lbs. with 10 plus pounders on occasion.
Crestliner PT 18. one of the smallest boats (18' 6") with a 150 rating.
the lake still has plenty of bass. I remember when I would catch 20 sm for every 1 lm. now it's the other way around. the lake has never been the same since they shut the plant for maintenance about...
I had a black Crestliner VT19. black really looks nice, but you will be forever touching it up. shows every little scratch. traded it for a white PT18 and all is well. probably just as many scratches...
if you want speed, go with the Ranger. the PT18 is not a pad hull and it's , not the fastest tin out there. for everything else the PT18. thicker aluminum, bigger livewell. huge casting deck, and...
sorry to hear about your problem. Crestliner should stand behind it. my PT 18 had bad porpoising problems. Crestliner built me a new boat without any hassle.
any of the dslr's sold today will take great pics. the thing is, it's not the camera but the person behind the camera. if you know nothing about photography, the most expensive camera out there won't...
could you imagine Don Rickles doing stand up today? they would be building the gallows before the show was over.
porpoising solved. they built me a new boat. got it right this time.
I went over the pros and cons for the RT198 and the PT18. the one pro for the Ranger was the pad. but over all beside the ride and speed the PT had more pros. 33 gal livewell, three full size rod...
150 Pro XS.
the PT 18 has .110 on the sides and bottom. the transom is .125.
right nest to the needle dispenser.
I fish the Mississippi often. I take my boat in areas I would never go to with my Stratos.
yeah, 150 Pro XS. I get 54 with two on board with the 3 blade and 52 with a 4 blade. like I said, it's not the boat if your looking for speed, but at my age speed is my last concern.
I have a PT18 and I love it. not for speed freaks, but it is stable and fishes like a dream. I like the lay out better than the Ranger. three full size rod lockers and a 33 gal. livewell, and you can...
you have to jack the trailer up enough for the water to flow out the back. the water has to go somewhere. just don't forget to unplug the drain hole. if your getting water in with the cover on, maybe...
