there's an American version and an International version, I would check with one of the users on another continent like maybe Bunkkah or CHOOhonets - (I think at least ONE has) may have US versions.

You can only network 2 devices in a "peer to peer" configuration, anything more requires the network switch to "route traffic" among the shared Ethernet devices.
