Those rangers are about as solid a boat as you'll fine. If it were me I'd put a new motor on it (or little used) IF thats something youd want to do, and use the rest to upgrade the snot out of it.

I have that same boat! Been a great boat, no problems structurally. Do the normal transom tap and motor bounce tests, of course. It's been a great boat!

My 93 uses about the same. Most I drive might be 10 miles. Don't really use more than a gallon or two a year, if that.
