Looking for a new to me boat and ran across a 2002 Alumacraft Bass Pro. Can anyone tell me what these things are made of? Do they have any wood in them or are they completely made of aluminum. It has...
Good point, but it sounds like that's something I'd have to work with if I use the 767 with the 859
Ok so I'd have two separate units using their own coordinates(mark spots on both units when necessary). Good to know. Thank you!
I have the 767
Internal gps, so it doesn't require a separate gps puck. Ok. Can I share info between the two or is that impossible?
Is $175 for a used Humminbird 859ci HD sonar GPS a good deal and if so can it be connected to the GPS I already have with my 767?
You have to remove the covering over the seat and expose the bolts. You will have to reach up underneath the passenger seats with whatever is necessary to remove the seat. The drivers seat is even...
I'll give that a try, but I hope that I am threading the rope correctly. There's nothing out there to show you exactly how it is supposed to look like if your rope pulled loose from the inside.
I saw this video, but unfortunately I have the gator mount and this doesn't quite help with the specifics that I need.
I am looking for a "how to's" for my gator mount. My pull rope broke and I tried to replace it, but it would not budge and eventually came lose. Maybe I installed it wrong and need a how to for...

I am about to sell a used prop that I have, but am uncertain how to rate it. Many on the sale portion use a 10/10 method, but I am not sure what requirements or expectations my prop meets in order...
Awesome, thanks guys!
Looking for some Ethanol Free Gas stations in Eufaula, AL area specifically in the northern part. Anybody from around that area and know of any? Thanks in advance! :praying:
What does "load test the battery" mean and does it require a device of sorts? Thanks!
Got a link to share those videos?
An electric palm sander? How do you wet sand with an electric sander without getting shocked or damaging the sander?
Wow, that is a cool idea for an old boat. It's hard to tell from the pics, but how well does the flake pop out? Got any close up pics with the sun out? Thanks for sharing
I got the 24oz and the lids are tight, but know from many who have shared on here that they will loosen up over time. I'm not sure how you can tell between them. Let me know what you learn.
Finished up re-installing the lids.

Would waxing the clear coat seal it from water? Do they make a clear gel coat that can be rolled on? Here's what I'm working with too just so you can have a visual. Thanks...
Update on the boat. Got it carpeted, but notice that some lids were on the wrong side. You can tell the carpet was going the wrong way. Switched them and it's all good. Now to put it all together....
So am I reading this thread right, if I prep the top cap of my boat by giving it a rough sanding(for the clear to adhere to), then it should stick and stay? To maintain the condition of the clear...
This is what I used to get it off of my boat. The blade will dull after a while. Tried using a file to sharpen it up, but a new blade make quick work of it.
