I did have the casting eyes. Manufacturer tag was tied to it and I over looked it

I’m looking to install a jack plate in the next couple days on my Javelin. I have a 175 Johnson And I took the cowl off and flywheel cover but there doesn’t seem to be any lifting eyes or a threaded...
I figured out what’s different on mine. My winch post is different and mounted further back from the tongue.

How long would you say your spring is? The gap fon my trailer is only about 4”. I have a co-worker with the exact same boat and his trailer has about a 10” gap.
