.....And it has to be a Lakemaster card that says i-pilot on it .... The older cards didn't support it either.
The Ipilot uses its own internal GPS.
If you mark a waypoint with the console unit, you will mark the coordinates utilizing the transom mounted GPS, and those should be as accurate as possible...

You don't need the new Lakemaster card to get it working.......only for the follow the contour feature. All other features are fine with any mapping card.
Yeah .... mine is 2 years old. Maybe find a Lowrance guy who wants one. Maybe you can sell it to Mduncan62
I am SOOOOO surprised that you don't like this product.
Jason, I noticed that in the video, you were always selecting 1 waypoint ahead of your current goto selection.....Can you select multiple waypoints in rapid sequence without waiting?
So, If you currently own an I-Pilot......Is it a complete changeout or is it just a different remote?
