I agree the fishing has been tough, especially on days you would expect to slay em. Spoke to a customer the other day and he said he loved the solitude of Clark and fishing was not dissappointing....
For anyone out in the Ford county area, for that matter anyone, hows the fishing been out there? Thinking I'll get 1 last day this coming Saturday and have been intrigued bout Clark.
What I was originally thinking. So there goes that idea
Yep, 5star already worked on it. They have a 2yr warranty and I have spoke with the owner, he's more than willing to do what it takes. I was just thinking with this dinosaur maybe I would benefit to...
I have looked thru several manufacturers and I guess I'm not seeing the TNT function of the jackplate. Can someone include a link?
Thx much
Still pondering/weighing going with the jackplate though. Had 1 guy tell me all jackplates have TNT but I swear I dont see the listing for such except for a max 130hp/430lb. Am I mistaken? Cuz if...
Maybe I'm not seeing that on Bobs or CMC. THe only ones i read with tilt/trim functions are only rated to 130hp/430 lbs. Everything else is a simple up/down function of lift, no tilt. Am i mistaken?
Appreciate the insight. Gonna send it back in, 5star has been more than reasonable so give em another chance I guess. Almost end of season here anyways
My TNT has been giving me fits. Sent to 5star for repair, gonna need to send it back again. So I'm thinking maybe just bite the bullet and get a hydraulic JP. Question is this : should I be worried...

Now the only question is 3 blade or 4 blade??
Thx Jimmy, appreciate the answerback
Ok then, agreed. It looks as though I am too deep. I'll slap the 21 on, test run it and see if it's just a prop problem and if so, yay me. I'll raise it up, spend the money on a ss prop and be happy...
YEp, this ol rig is on a budget but I'll do what i gotta do. Just dont have the time now to get that all done b4 I run outta good weather. Was hoping someone saw the measurements and the pics, might...
I looked at both props and the 1 on there now has 3 holes drilled in it but the 21 Solas does not. Haven't tried that 1 yet
Both the new prop pitches came up as recommended by turning point but I dont recall seeing any vent holes so I guess I should seek out another brand, yes?
As far as the engine height, u agree it...
The pic is the new hustler 19 pitch 3 blade, referred by turning point. I have a new 21 pitch haven't tried it. And yes both aluminum and was told they were vented but dont see any holes.
As far as...
I am also reading the sticky and going off the standard 6" setback which I do not have so I'm not sure what this standard would be. 5" sounds about right ??
I have my long level on the ground and its just slightly off center

So should I raise it 2 bolt holes and see what it does?

This is my current setup. Level boat, level motor. Pad to ground 14", prop centerline to ground 9". That means I'm about 1.5" below what the starting point would be at 3.5". But yet I swear...
Probably gonna have to do something with the factory steering on my 93 274Fs. Put on new to me motor, gonna have to get a jackplate and hence the old steering cable will probably not work well. Was...
Perfect, thank you!!! Will do that tonight
