for the most part, you cant use 30 lb braid on your rods and tie an appropriate floro or mono leader.
Use lighter braid for spinning.
And straight floro for cranking and jerk baits.

I love my rig as well, It is awesome. But i dont appreciate ruined tackle and wet compartments. Even in A torrential downpour i think they should stay dry....
