My son started this winter with one. He turns 11 next week but is 5'1". He casts a 7' rod like a pro! I started him on a 6 6 but almost immediately went to the 7.

I've been to a couple places from DDD. Each one of the ones I've visited were superb! I love the show and we watch it every Friday as well.
