3 inch with a 25 Fury 4 on my 2017 294.
All of them are very appreciated.
Search for HDPE sheet material online. I have made all sorts of covers out of this. Very easy to work with if you have basic hand tools.
I'm not familiar with flushing the adapter plate. Can you give a brief description on how to correctly do this?
Thanks
HDPE or UHMW will work and inexpensive.
My 2017 294 xle came with one installed at the factory. I just measured and it is 7ft long. PM me and I'll send you some pics.
25 Fury 4. Awesome holeshot, 74 mph tourney loaded. Had to have it blueprinted out of the box.
The X2 solved my issues along with following the recommendations in the batteries FAQ.
8 inch hydraulic plate with a 25 Fury 4 blade. It's a hole shot and acceleration beast. Low 70's full tourney load.
I use the bottle that the quickleen comes in. I mix 5 and 10 gallon shots.
This worked for me.
Great to hear positive information on these forums. I hope my 2017 294 holds up that well also. Favorite boat I have owned by far.
I fished out of a 521L that had the traction pad. I really liked it. Been looking for a place to buy a piece of that material. Found some similar stuff, but no the same. Any ideas?
I get the lean in my 294 when trimmed down. When I went to the Fury 4 the lean was much less noticeable. This is because I can stay on plane at lower speeds and higher trim with the Fury 4. The lean...
Awesome prop and fun to drive. I love to fish and it's nice when the boat behaves and performs well. My experience is very similar to yours except I'm running a 25 Fury 4 on my 294. You got me...
What pitch did you go with? Pro XS? Sounds like you got it dialed in. Your performance is very similar to mine. I have 3 batteries.
It's a 25 Fury 4. Had to have it blue printed. Out of the box it was no true to pitch.
I'm running a 25 Fury 4 on my 294 with a pro xs. I'm getting 5720 rpms @73.5 MPH. 3" p to p. Boat is loaded.
Exactlly the same, except my top speed is 73.5. When I switched to a Fury 4 it made the walk a little easier to correct. A bonus, hole shot and acceleration is awesome. When I put the boat in the...
My 2017 294XLE walks around 66-69 MPH. Above that it is smooth. Takes a little practice to control, but once you get the hang of it you don't even think about it anymore.
Can you tell us what exactly you purchased?
I have 2017 200 pro xs. Luckily I have smart craft. This debris in the thermostats is getting old. I have to clean them every time I'm on the water....
Same issue here. TN River is full of trash. Glad I have the vessel view link.
This is most likely your problem. Same thing happened to me. It drove me nuts and dealer could not figure it out. I pulled the fuse panel and fished out this connection. Opened the plastic cover and...
Ive heard of two different props slinging a blade on the fury 4. Mine has performed flawlessly. Hope it stays that way.
